Polite Notice - UPDATE COVID-19
We are delighted to confirm in line with recent Government announcements that we will be able to resume some of our close contact treatments, others are still restricted. We cannot wait to welcome you back through the doors of the salon for a much needed catch up and pamper. We want our salon to be somewhere you can feel safe and relax, therefore some things will be a bit different when you enter.
We wanted to update you about the social distancing measures that are in place in the salon, to reduce unnecessary contact. While we were closed, we were busy behind the scenes preparing for our second reunion with you, and have continued to strengthen our already high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control. We are continually revisiting our risk assessments, taking account of recent changes. We know some of you will be feeling excited about coming in to see us again, while others will be feeling somewhat nervous and anxious. It is our goal that every single one of you can feel safe and comfortable in our salon. As such, we are kindly asking that you:
- Pre book your appointment, you will be sent a new consultation form to complete in advance, to include track and trace information
- Pay contactless for your appointment
- Wait in your car or outside in fresh air if you are early for your appointment. We appreciate your prompt arrival. If you are late, we may have to reschedule

- Use the supplied hand sanitizer when you arrive at the salon
- Keep a space of 2 metres between you and anyone else in the salon, out of the treatment area

So that our salon is as safe as possible, you will have a slightly different salon experience than before:
- Apart from water, food and beverage service has been suspended
- Please limit the amount of personal items you bring with you into the salon. - Anything brought in will need to be kept with you at all times
- Appointments are spaced out to reduce the number of people present and to allow extra time for cleaning/disinfection and sterilization
- Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization work spaces and equipment and hand washing will take place in between every client, in line with previous practices. One use items will be utilized were possible.
- Increased and more frequent cleaning of high touch areas
- Screens will be used during services to protect clients and staff and minimise contact
- No towels will be used during services, all couch’s will be made up with disposable towels and disposed after treatments/service
- Staff have undertaken additional, targeted infection control and hygiene training
- QR code is displayed for scanning on arrival
- Operating on a reduced treatment menu and therefore some treatments that may have been offered before will no longer be available to book. Please speak to a member of staff for more information.
Each treatment that is able to be offered has been risk assessed and may have been modified to accommodate additional hygiene and infection controls. Staff will wear a visor, type II mask and clear partition screening will be used for some treatments. Clients are requested to wear a face type II mask which may be required to be removed for purposes of identification, (at a social distance). Our normal PPE arrangements remain in place for some treatments, such as waxing.
If one of your favourite treatments is not on this list, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can recommend a similar service that is suited to you.
We are able to offer virtual consultations and other virtual appointments for skin care, to book please email the office for co-ordination. We will also be offering a suite of led tutorials for skin care at home and will require pre-booking.
Unfortunately we will not be able to accept walk in appointments or even have you call in to the salon to book an appointment. This is to maintain the safety of our clients and our staff and to ensure we can carry out the suite of safety measures and guidelines.
To book an appointment with us please call us on 01757 212130 or email us at office@armonia.co.uk and we will do our best to get you booked in as soon as possible with one of our therapists.
We look forward to welcoming you back!
